CML HealthCare Clinic - Signage Rollout

After the Beer Store one of the first projects SOS became an integral part of was with CML HealthCare.

CML began with one laboratory in the early 70’s, but has burgeoned into a leading provider of medical imaging and laboratory testing services, operating Canada’s largest network of community-based imaging clinics, with a major medical diagnostic laboratory operation in Ontario. With CML launching new growth, they went on the hunt for a company that can handle the signage program for its expansion. And one solution presented itself.

Signs of Change was awarded the contract to work with CML due in part to our web-based initiative, the Store Ordering System, or SOS. We set up an online inventory system for CML’s key signage components, creating an online sign catalogue of over 250 items, easily accessible by all CML users. All their signage components are clearly identifiable and with one click of the mouse, can be ordered online in real time. The needed elements arrive on the doorstep, on a per location basis. SOS allows CML to track where and when its sign components arrive.

They can create a job, select delivery dates, add new items, and delete old items. They can click on column headings and re-sort stuff by price, date, title, code number, or quantity. They get an overview of the order, which can be sent to the stores as order confirmations. There’s even an image catalogue online and with a Master Price List. 

When the order is submitted SOS does the processing. Everything happens directly in the application, right down to packing slips and shipping label so order status is reflected online in real time. Its just crazy easy.
